Before starting my nursing career, I received a bachelor’s degree from the University of California San Diego, where my focus was on sociology and international studies. I worked for several years with a renowned historian of science, honing my research and writing skills. I later earned my bachelor of science in nursing from California State University Northridge. I graduated summa cum laude and with honors from both degree programs.
My peers know me to be highly detail-oriented, a critical thinker, and a strong patient advocate. I work tirelessly to support my patients and have been nominated four times for a Daisy Award for excellence in nursing.
